What I Bought on Amazon – September Link Up

What I Bought on Amazon Link Up | Perks of Being a JAP | www.perksofbeingajap.com

Welcome to the second installment of the What I Bought on Amazon Link-Up! As I mentioned in the intro post, this will be a monthly feature, posting on the first Wednesday of every month. I am OBSESSED with Amazon and do 90% of my shopping there, so I thought it would be fun to share what I buy each month!

Grab the image and link up at the bottom to join!

Some things I purchased that aren’t included are items for my cousin’s baby shower (EEKK so excited to meet this little peanut!) and I also use my prime account for work purchases, so that stuff isn’t included either.

In September, my Amazon purchases included:

What I Bought on Amazon - September | Perks of Being a JAP | www.perksofbeingajap.com

Pyrex 2 Cup Round, 4 Cup Round, and 3 Cup Rectangle Storage Covers – New storage lids WOO! My life is so exciting haha. But seriously these are great, We have glass Pyrex storage containers that are awesome but the lids, unfortunately, crack after time. Finally found some replacements online.

LG G Pad Protective Cover/Case – Sadie has a tablet (that we got for free through our cell phone provider) and we made the mistake of not having a case for it right away and of course, now the screen is cracked. Not horribly, but still. So we finally got a case for it.

I Am She-Ra T-shirt – (currently out of stock!) I ran a Super Hero 5k recently and didn’t to go all out but wanted some superhero pride. So I dug into my roots and went with a She-Ra shirt! Didn’t hurt that Sadie discovered it on Netflix recently. (And OMG it’s so weird.)

Gold Glitter Headband – To go with the She-Ra shirt, of course! I wore it for the race – it was perfect and didn’t slip or give me a headache!

Barbie Mermaid Doll – Sadie has always liked Barbies in theory but never really played with them but now she’s getting more into them and always gravitates towards them at our friend’s house. She also LOVES mermaids and this Barbie Mermaid movie and book so I snagged this up when it was on sale for Christmas!

The Big Bad Bubble – We LOVE books by Adam Rubin (Dragons Love Tacos, RoboSauce, Secret Pizza Party) so I always keep an eye out for price drops on his other books and this one came up! It’s such a cute story – Sadie thought it was hilarious and brought it to school to share with her class.

Disney’s Moana Pua Plush – Pua! We still love Moana around here and while I’m waiting for the Hei-Hei doll to go down in price, Pua dropped a lot so I snatched it up for Christmas/Hanukkah.

Shmelf the Hanukkah Elf – Our family tradition is that on Christmas Eve Sadie gets a new pair of holiday PJs, we watch the old-school claymation Christmas movies and she gets a holiday book. I couldn’t resist Shmelf the Hanukkah Elf!! I can’t wait to read this with her!

Big Daddy EZ Lasso – So, I went to Austin for work and asked Sadie what she wanted me to bring back for her. She wanted a lasso. And while I didn’t make it into downtown Austin or any souvenir shops, the hotel didn’t sell any and the airport stores didn’t either. (Which I guess makes sense.) So, her lasso came on a special airplane filled with cowboys all the way from Texas, to arrive after I got home. Otherwise known as Amazon Prime. HEHEHE.

Not Your Mother’s Kinky Moves Hair Cream – Whenever I wear my hair naturally curly this is my go-to product. It smells SO GOOD and it makes my hair look nice and keep some shape without it being crunchy.

L’Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Healthy Luminous Makeup – I’m on my second bottle of this stuff – my shade is C4, shell beige, and I swear its made for my skin tone. It’s an awesome, drugstore priced foundation and I honestly think it’s better than some of the pricier foundation I own! And I love the pump it has – makes it so easy to get the right amount out!

Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda Detergent – More stuff needed for detergent making! I had to make a new batch and had just enough washing soda for it so I grabbed this 2-pack so I have it for next time.

Nerf Zombie Strike FlipFury Blaster – Sadie’s friend had a birthday party that we forgot all about! We felt horrible. I had just come back from Austin that afternoon and Dave was wiped from a week of work and solo-parenting and it slipped our minds. Luckily our friends are awesome and weren’t upset but OMG we felt awful. Anyway, Daniel wanted a Nerf gun so Daniel got a Nerf gun! (And Dave wants one too!)

3-pack Assorted Scented Tea Light Candles 24-ct Apple Cinnamon Vanilla and Black Cherry – I have this set of tea light candle holders that I got from Yankee Candle on clearance last year for Halloween – they are so cute they look like witches potion bottles and they sit on spiders legs. I needed some tea lights so I got this 24 pack. They smell super yummy but are kind of thin/shallow – they burn out pretty fast!

ZESICA Women’s Long Sleeve Pleated Casual Dresses – I had seen this dress popping up on the Facebook deal site I belong to for women’s clothing and when they were marked down on a Lightning Deal I grabbed two – one in floral and the other a solid navy. I wore the floral today and got so many compliments! It was great with just flip flops today and will also be great when it gets cooler with leggings/tights and boots.

Well, I think I ordered slightly less this month than I did last month! LOL
