What I Bought on Amazon – August Link Up

What I Bought on Amazon Link Up | Perks of Being a JAP | www.perksofbeingajap.com

Welcome to the first What I Bought on Amazon Link-Up! As I mentioned in the intro post, this will be a monthly feature, posting on the first Wednesday of every month. I am OBSESSED with Amazon and do 90% of my shopping there, so I thought it would be fun to share what I buy each month!

Grab the image and link up at the bottom to join!

I do have some subscribe and save items that ship to me on a recurring basis each month so I won’t share those (vitamins etc), and I buy a lot of Kindle books but I share those in my monthly Read It In posts so this round up will include all the other stuff! (And trust me, it’s still a lot of stuff!

In August, my Amazon purchases included:

What I Bought on Amazon - August | Perks of Being a JAP | www.perksofbeingajap.com

It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown – book for Sadie. I try to get her a themed book for holidays (Halloween, Valentine’s Day, Hanukkah/Christmas etc) and I realized she didn’t have the classic Charlie Brown story! PLUS we’re doing to do a fun Crafty Kids Craft around the book – coming soon!

Avery No-Iron Kids Clothing Labels – I picked up these labels on the recommendation of Andrea from Momfessionals (there are a couple of recommendations in here that I snagged!) These labels are great for Sadie’s school items like her water bottle and Yumboxes.

BUILT NY Gourmet Getaway Neoprene Lunch Tote – another Andrea rec! I had a lunch tote that I got from a Pampered Chef party awhile ago but it wasn’t great. I thought it was too small! So happy I got this one – its such a cute design and it fits a TON!

Delray Plants Ficus Pandurata Bush in Pot – the final Andrea recommendation! If you follow her you know she has a TON of plants in her house including this ficus – which I got on sale when she posted it for like, $12.99! We’ve only had it a few weeks and it’s already grown a TON. I’ve been into plants lately – adding some to our deck and in our house and I love them!

iSuperb Solid Colorful Laundry Ball Washing Balls – I honestly don’t know if these are actually helping get our clothes cleaner, but I saw them on a Buzzfeed listicle I think and figured, why not! They definitely help keep my clothes from balling up in the washer and dryer though!

SYROKAN Women’s High Impact Support Wirefree Workout Racerback Sports Bra Top – I am a petite woman with a large chest… and I finally came to the realization that I needed better (and bigger) sports bras! These SYROKAN sports bras are fantastic! I first got one in black and when I realized how good they were got two more in pink and gray.

MAEZAP Non Slip Ballet Grip Sock for Barre Pilates Yoga – Needed for Pure Barre! I love the cute little Mary Jane style. I would recommend washing these in your gentle cycle though – they started to get a little fuzzy after the first wash or so – so I do gentle cycle and then let them air dry.

Fingerlings – Interactive Baby Monkey – BellaΒ & Zoe – These are apparently going to be THE IT toy(s) for the holidays and when I saw them start to pop up on the different deal sites/blogs I follow, I grabbed two while they were in stock and the prices were low! I have no idea why these are going to be a big thing, but they’re not too pricey so I am hiding them for Sadie for Christmas/Hanukkah.

Evenflo AMP Select Car Booster Seat – it was time to upgrade Sadie from her 5-point harness seat to a booster! She is pretty tall and fits the requirements, so we went for it! I normally don’t buy girly print things that we can use for (hopefully) another child but it was on sale and I got this for like under $20.

Bohemian Gold Silver Plated Chain Double-Side Oval Stones Tassel Pendant Long Sweater Necklace – How cute is this necklace? Spotted on a deal Facebook group and for $9.99, why not? I love that it’s double sided.

Delon 100% Cleansing Cotton Rounds – I like using cotton rounds to take off my makeup and when I’m too lazy to hit up Target or CVS, Amazon to the rescue! These came in a three pack so I’ve got a ton to go through now.

20 Mule Team Borax Detergent Booster & Multi-Purpose Household Cleaner, 65 Ounce (Pack of 6) – When I saw this deal on a 6 pack of Borax detergent for under $20 I grabbed it. I use Borax to make my own laundry detergent and this is a GREAT price for six boxes! (And the deal is still on!)

Fels Naptha Laundry Soap Bar & Stain Remover – Pack of 2 – Since I purchased the Borax I figured I’d stock up on another detergent ingredient I was low on – Fels Naptha bar soap! I ordered two of these 2-packs.

FUNTOK 105pcs Marble Run – I actually spotted a marble run on Lindsay’s blog first and then when a deal came up in one of my groups I thought it would be a great Christmas/Hanukkah gift for Sadie!Β Note – I paid $19.98 for this and now it’s $16.98!Β

Kangaroo Marble Set – And with the marble run you need marbles! I actually didn’t buy the marbles that were recommended with the marble run – some of the reviews on Amazon weren’t so great, so I went for another set instead with better reviews.

Phew – that’s it for August! I told you I buy a lot on Amazon! Click on the link-up button below to add your blog post URL too!

The next Amazon link-up will be Wednesday, October 4!
