Five on a Friday

I feel like I have a lot of random bits floating around so I’m going to throw them all into a Five on a Friday post!

I purchased this clothing organizer for Sadie and even though we’ve only had it for a week it’s been a mornings game-changer. She is at the stage where she wants to pick out her own clothes each day but it adds so much time each morning! So now on Sundays, we take some time and pull out her outfits for each day of the week, down to the underwear and socks. Works like a charm!

I am thinking of doing Whole 30. Has anyone done it? I know a lot of people here and there have and while it’s hard as your body detoxes, no one has hated it. Do I need a cookbook or can I survive off of common sense and Pinterest?

The Rose family has been sick this week! I feel like I’ve been at home more than I’ve been at work! First I was sick and now Sadie has a fever. She doesn’t really have any other symptoms but she’s had a fever for two days so we’re off to the doctor this afternoon. I’m very lucky that I can work from home since I have to keep her out of school and she’s keeping busy with Netflix, Shopkins and water beads!

Dave and I have been trying to meal plan more and I am making these Baked Chicken Wings tonight. Can’t wait!

I saw this on Facebook and could not stop laughing! I love those silly tyrannosaurus costumes and feel like Dave and I would totally be friends with this couple.

  2. Hope Sadie is better soon! I would like to do the Whole 30. I have done the 21 Day Fix and I’m planning to do it again soon. I basically just search pinterest and their website for recipes!

  3. I love that video of the couple! I think it’s exactly what most of us need in our lives right now. Also, I love that clothing organizer! I’ll have to suggest that to my brother when the twins get to that phase.

I have a friend who’s doing Whole 30. I think it’s been a week so far. He says it’s pretty easy for him (I think he’s a fairly healthy eater). The hardest part for him is the no sugar and no alcohol, but 30 days isn’t so awfully long. I don’t think you need the cookbook if you use pinterest and common sense.
Let me know how it goes – I’m thinking of doing it as well!

  5. That clothes organizer is genius! And I love how proud of it Sadie is, she is too cute! Hope you guys are feeling better soon xo
