Mug Love Exchange!

My life is so hectic right now that I almost missed posting about what I received in the Mug Love Exchange!

I’m a sucker for a good blogger exchange and obviously when I saw a bunch of lovely ladies hosting a mug swap – I was in. (I ignored the fact that my mug collection is getting a little out of control. Clearly, the problem is not enough shelf space and not that I have too many mugs!)

I got paired up with Lindsay, who doesn’t have a blog (yet!) but you can follow her and her adorable family on IG. And you can also check out what I got her here.

I will also start referring to Lindsay as my KC (Kansas City) sister from another mister because we had a lot of similarities off the bat – she’s the mom to an adorable little girl, Jewish, and isn’t on the pumpkin spice latte train. (WOO HOO!) Lindsay outdid herself and got me the BEST mug and goodies!

OMG, this mug. This mug has been on my Pinterest board (yes, I have one devoted entirely to mugs) for the longest time. I’m a sucker for a good pun/corny joke/wordplay and THIS MUG IS EVERYTHING. I literally squealed when I took it out of the box, and then Dave used it and I almost punched him. (MY MUG DAVE.)

Lindsay totally got my sense of humor for this mug from my blog and Instagram. She also sent me a bunch of local Kansas goodies and other treats (the marshmallows are almost gone… oops) and the CUTEST card that came with an owl ornament! (The owl on the front of the card detaches and you can hang it – it’s currently on our kitchen bulletin board.)

Thank you, Lindsay! One thing I love about these swaps is getting paired with someone you don’t know. Lindsay and I immediately clicked and I can see us staying in touch and being friends beyond this exchange.

What’s your favorite mug to use? This may be my new one!

Whoo hoo! I am so glad you liked the mug – I had some other options on the backburner but I just kept coming back to this one! Also, so glad we got paired together. I have added you to our Hanukkah card list so this is not the last you will hear from me 🙂

  2. I follow Lindsay on instagram! I wish she had a blog too, we have that Jewish thing in common, plus I live in KC too! She did great on your package!

  4. I NEED THAT MUG! Our favorite ones lately are our Game of Thrones-style “My Sun and Stars” and “Moon of My Life” mugs that my sister got us as an anniversary present.

    • Generally just different bloggers I follow! The girls who hosted this one tend to do a lot of swaps – some are kid based (a lot of bloggers with kids) but they are also doing a scarf swap that we’re in the middle of.

  16. Oh, I love blogger swaps. Unfortunately, the last mug swap I did, I ended up not receiving my mug and it left me kind of disappointed…. but the mug that you got is awesome! 🙂 I have a bit of a mug addiction and rotate between my favorite mugs all the time.

  1. […] I love rocking a good scarf, so when I saw the Fall Scarf Exchange (#FallScarfExchange16) hosted by Courtney at A+ Life, Elizabeth at Chasin’ Mason, and Whitney at Work it Mommy. (Just like I did for the mug swap!) […]

  2. […] Last year I was paired up with Lindsay and this year I got paired up with one of my favorite bloggers – Dara! Dara and I were super excited to be paired up and started emailing immediately about mugs, collections and more. Dara has started a Rae Dunn mug collection and you can see what I got her here. I see them all the time at places like Marshall’s and Home Goods so I was happy to be able to snag some for her! […]
