Who rocks the house?
I said the Pride rocks the house!
and when the Pride rocks the house!
They rock it all the way down!
Sadie is on a cheer squad for our local school district and it’s pretty much the cutest thing I’ve ever seen in my life. Last weekend was one of two high school homecomings and she got to march in the homecoming parade! She is horrible at the cheers and barely pays attention but when they do stunts and she’s a “flyer” (they don’t fly anywhere at her age, trust me) she is in her element!
We love introducing her to new things and both Dave and I are big advocates of involving children in different activities and hobbies at an early age to a) give them something to do b) make friends and c) explore different things to build skills and maybe shape some talents.
Right now Sadie has no talent for dance or for cheerleading (HAHA) – but she loves it! Plus since it’s technically through the school district – it’s pretty inexpensive! Can’t complain about that! So…
Let’s go!
Let’s go!
Didn’t put shorts on Sadie under her cheer skirt… hence the protective heart graphic. 🙂
Let’s go PRIDE!
She is adorable!
thank you!!!
Yummy as ever!!!
STOP IT.
She is SO CUTE. xo

Thanks dear!
She looks so cute! I never cheered, so I don’t know what it entails, but it’s all about having fun at that age. I was a ballet/gymnastics/jazz/soccer/softball dropout. Turned out to be decent at volleyball/basketball, but really good at running and band (clarinet). Glad my parents allowed me to try so many things and fail before I found what I loved!

We are definitely of the same mind frame – if Sadie hated something we wouldn’t force her to continue but I want her to be exposed to a lot of different activities so she can figure out what she likes and hopefully also see what she is good at.
The cuteness! I’m sure she’ll get better at it!

Thanks!
She looks so darn cute – but an actual LOL at “she is horrible at the cheers and barely pays attention.” Hey, maybe someday!
