Summer Vacation in Numbers

Like I’ve mentioned we spent the last week in Narragansett, Rhode Island on summer vacation. We go away every summer with Dave’s family and when we first started going there were 10 of us and now we’re up to 13! We’ve been to Vermont, Virginia (2x), Cape Cod, the Poconos and this is the first time we’ve gone to Rhode Island. We did a lot while away so I figured I’d break it down by numbers!

We had a great time! Would definitely go back to Rhode Island to hang on the beaches and explore even more!

Comments

  1. We’ve lived in RI for 16 years and have yet to grow tired of exploring the smallest state!

  2. Looks like such a lovely beach vacation! Of all the east coast beaches and towns which was your favorite?

    • I really liked Narragansett! It was super cute and easy to get to everything. Point Judith was also nice, but we didn’t get to see a ton of it. And Newport was fantastic for the mansions and cliff walk!

  3. Looks amazing! I went to the Newport mansions years ago but I seem to remember photos not being allowed. Did you get to go to the country’s oldest synagogue??

    • They didn’t want you to use a flash so as long as you kept that off you were ok. We didn’t go to the synagogue! I didn’t know about it. Also Dave and his family aren’t Jewish so not sure how much interest there would be.

  4. I am so jealous of all your beach time! I can’t believe I didn’t go a single time this summer, damn it.

  5. Oh I love seeing a post about Narragansett beach! Huge fan of going there! And while I haven’t done the mansion tours or cliff walk since before Noah was born, it was also a favorite of mine! If you go back to Newport you should take one of their sailing tours… Beautiful to see the area from a boat! We haven’t done an aquarium while there yet… Where is the one you went to?

    • We actually went to Mystic Aquarium in CT since it was close. And a lot of us get seasick otherwise we probably would have done a sailing tour. Dave would have loved it!

  6. What a fabulous summer vacation! Love it!

I went to Rhode Island a few years ago and I fell in love and so hope to go back one day. So pretty!

  7. What a lovely couple of months!!
