March Stitch Fix Reveal

March Stitch Fix Reveal | Perks of Being a JAP |

Hello hello! Well its April and I’m just now sharing my March Stitch Fix. Oops. And it’s not that I didn’t want to share it because my new stylist Liz B (HI LIZ) knocked it out of the park! Liz was a blogger I followed and when she saw my last horrible Stitch Fix post she reached out and suggested I ask for her as a stylist. I’m glad she did because she really paid attention to my profile, my Pinterest boards and what I kept from previous fixes.

Market & Spruce Maeby Dress – Okay one reason I love that this dress is called the “Maeby” dress and I’m going to assume that it’s named after Maeby from Arrested Development. Liz sent me this dress because she saw something similar on one of my Pinterest boards and I love it! At first I was hesitant because I’m not a huge fan of cinched sleeves (hello, arm chub!) but they’re not too tight and I adore the pattern and colors of the dress. In this photo I paired it with my BC Footwear Band Boots but I’ve also worn it with my knee high black boots. (P.S. those BC Footwear boots are now on sale for like $34!) Kept.

Stitch Fix Reveal | Loveapella Lolla 3/4 Sleeve Woven Back Knit Top & Kut from the Kloth Connie Distressed Frayed Hem Skinny Jean | Perks of Being a JAP |

Loveapella Lolla 3/4 Sleeve Woven Back Knit Top – I don’t always love mixed media tops but I did want some more floral in my wardrobe (it’s part of my Stitch Fix profile but no one until Liz has paid attention to it!) and I always love grey so this top was a win. It’s super comfy, I love that it’s high-low without being too high in the front and although the back is thin fabric it’s not completely sheer. WIN. I wore this top basically right out of the box the morning after I got it and immediately got complemented at work. Kept.

Kut from the Kloth Connie Distressed Frayed Hem Skinny Jean – I’m usually leery of pants from Stitch Fix – I’ve kept one pair but they are always too long. NOT THESE! Liz sent them to me in a petite size and so they are the perfect length. They’re also a bit big on me because I’m a weird in between size but who cares because that makes them the most comfortable jeans ever!! Hahaha. I also didn’t know how I felt about the frayed hem look that is in style right now but after wearing these jeans I like it. Kept.

Stitch Fix Reveal | Papermoon Haenow Zipper Detail Tunic & Street Level Juno Small Folded Clutch | Perks of Being a JAP |

Street Level Juno Small Folded Clutch – I asked for a black small bag/clutch in my fix and Liz delivered! I am obsessed with this bag! I love the Street Level brand – I have a HUGE black and tan reversible bag that I have been using daily and they make such great products so I was thrilled to see the clutch made by them. I love the fact that it has a chain strap and it’s big enough to store what I need without it being just my phone, a lipstick and a credit card like some other small bags. Perfect, perfect, perfect! Kept.

Papermoon Haenow Zipper Detail Tunic – Not gonna lie, I probably would not have kept this tunic if I wasn’t keeping the other items in this fix but if you’re doing the math – I kept four items so far so if I kept the fifth then I got an additional discount. Done and done! It’s cute and all, and I love the zipper detailing on the sides but I already have a top in the exact same color from a previous fix, so it’s almost like a dupe in my closet. Maybe I’ll try to trade it on one of those Stitch Fix Facebook groups. Kept.

I was so, so happy with this fix! This is the first fix in awhile that I felt was really tailored to me and I still appreciate how Stitch Fix reached out to me after the review of my last box. Looking forward to this month’s fix!

  1. Damn, love everything from that Fix. I wouldn’t have thought I’d like that dress, on paper – it seems like A LOT. But it looks great on you! I’m always pleasantly surprised how wrong my snap judgments sometimes are about stuff on the hanger, haha.

  2. Awesome fix! Amazing! You look fantastic in everything. I think I might need to request your stylist!

  3. YAY! I’m so glad it was a hit – and it was SO much fun to put together. The jeans look ridiculously amazing and that mixed material top: #hearteyes. Already have a list of ideas for your next Fix! xoxo Liz B.

  4. Yaaay! I love that floral-y top, so cute! And the cobalt blue? It’s one of my all-time favorite colors (3 tops, a cardigan, 2 scarves, 2 dresses…oops?), and I think this one looks fab on you. Also? Tiny black purse envy.

I’m so thrilled that your new stylist is so good at her job, she totally rocked it!

  5. Love the top! Jeans and tees are basically my out-of-summer uniform, but this top really pretties up a basic tee. I wonder when stitch fix is coming to Australia? I keep reading about it and it sounds awesome!

  6. Wow, you kept everything?? I have yet to try stitch fix. I’m worried that the clothes won’t fit my abnormal upper body! The clothes all look great on you.

    • Yeah! This is actually I think the 2nd time I’ve kept everything! When you love four items it just makes sense to keep the fifth so you get the discount!

  7. yay! i’m so glad it worked. and can we talk about how awesome those jeans look? and that mixed material shirt!?!? #hearteyes can’t wait to style you again (already got a running list of ideas). xoxoxo Liz B.

  8. That dress is supercute! I am really tempted to try StitchFix (have been for a while), but I am trying to stick with my “no-clothes-budget” right now. Sigh.

    • The minute you’re done with your no clothes budget you should give it a shot! Everything is great quality so its not like you’re paying for Forever 21 type clothes!

  9. These are amazing! I really love the dress! It definitely makes me wish I had the budget for Stitch Fix. Especially as I’m feeling very blah about my whole wardrobe, so I pretty much just live in maxi skirts forever now. :\

    • It is hard to factor into your budget but I remind myself that I could buy a lot more at like, Forever 21, but the quality is so, so different. And I also hate shopping at Forever 21 haha.
