Recent Stitch Fixery

Well January and February have come and gone and I haven’t told you about those Stitch Fix deliveries! January was better than February – I kept two items in January and probably would have kept more if the price was cheaper. February I unfortunately sent it all back! Here’s a rundown:

Jan/Feb stitchfix

January Stitch Fix

  1. 41Hawthorn – Ryan Chevron Knit Infinity Scarf. Dear lord I wish I liked the colors on this scarf because it had everything else going for it. Infinity scarf! Chevron! SUPER SOFT! But the colors were horrible on me. Totally washed my pale self out. It went back.
  2. Kensie – Jackie Longsleeve Striped Sweater Dress. I’m a sucker for a good sweater dress and probably would have kept this one too but since I’m pretty petite, I felt like the main panel of stripes was overpowering on my frame. Went back.
  3. 41Hawthorn – Queensland Dolman Jersey Top. This plum colored top was super clingy, had dolman sleeves (or what I call batwings) and was actually pretty flattering. I just couldn’t justify the price. Went back.
  4. Dorsey – Chunky Knit Drape Front Cardigan. I FREAKING LOVE THIS SWEATER. Its giant, crazy soft and I feel like I’m wearing a blanket. KEEP. Amazeballs. It was a little pricey, but the quality and the fact that I wear it constantly was worth it to me. Here’s an instagram pic of how I styled it.
  5. Kut From The Kloth – Paige Skinny Jean. I have problem with jeans because I’m short but these were like cut for my body. Fit perfectly and I adored the dark wash. Keep!
  6. (This starts the February Stitch Fix411Hawthorn – Benson 3/4 Ruched Sleeve Blazer. This blazer was really cute! It was almost sweatshirty material, and the ruched sleeves added a cute detail. But the pockets weren’t functional pockets and that bothered me. Wouldn’t be helpful for working events! This went back.
  7. Jach’s Girlfriend – Hester Dot Print Button-Up Cotton Shirt. The photo came out as more of a white shirt than what it really is which tannish. Wasn’t a fan of any part of it, so it back it went.
  8. 41Hawthorn – Wren V-neck Cap Sleeve Jersey Top. I LOVED the cranberry color of this top, but something about how the neckline fell and what it did to my bust and waist just wasn’t right. Back!
  9. Ark n Co – Kimberly Striped Pleated Skirt. This was really cute, but I just couldn’t think of any place I’d wear it, or how it would fit into my closet in terms of what I already owned. Back!
  10. Just Black – Adora Skinny Jean. These fell into the usual problems I have with pants. Too, too, too long! I loved the cut and the orange sherbert color of the jeans but didn’t want to spend additional money having them hemmed when they were more than I usually spend on jeans to begin with. Back they went!

Although I didn’t keep anything in February I’m not discouraged. My March fix should be here in another week or so and I’m excited to see what comes. I haven’t received any jewelry yet, and since we’re getting into warmer weather (god willing) I can’t wait to see how the selection evolves.

  2. That sweater’s great. So glad you kept it! I finally gave up on Stitch Fix. I just didn’t love what I was getting, & I think I’m slightly too big for most of their styles. Didn’t feel worth it, so I returned to the POP SUGAR Must Have Box, which arrives tomorrow!
