Just Keep Swimming, Just Keep Swimming, Just Keep Swimming, Swimming, Swimming…

It would be awesome if I could get my sh*t together. Wait up, why the asterisk? Fuck it. SHIT.

I feel better.

But seriously, I feel like I’m swimming and my neck is barely above water. (Just keep swimming, just keep swimming!!)

It’s a vicious cycle of getting up in the morning, getting myself ready (showering, if I’m lucky), getting Sadie ready while Dave makes our breakfast/lunch, running her over to daycare, heading back over to the train, working all day, running to make the 5:59pm train so I don’t have to wait for the 6:33, getting home by 7, playing/entertaining Sadie and having dinner until she goes to bed (or eating after she’s in bed), lather, rinse, repeat.

By the time all is said and done its 8 or  8:30pm and I want to do NOTHING else. Blogging? Psssht. I couldn’t even tell you the last time I cracked my laptop open when I’ve gotten home at night. I wind up laying on the couch, catching up on our DVR or watching Game of Thrones (OMG SO GOOD!) and then inevitably pass out only to wake up around 10:30-11pm and go to bed.

It SUCKS.

We’re in our busy season at work, and even when we won’t have plans on the weekend, it seems like the list of errands keeps growing and growing.

I need a vacation. Hell I could use a staycation.

It took me two weeks to write this post from when I first started it. Maybe soon I’ll actually recap my trip to Seattle… which took place in February.

Fail.
