OMG you’re three months old! I can’t believe it’s gone by so fast, and it also means that I’m back to working again. I’m only away from you two days a week right now, but I miss you like crazy when I’m gone! (Although the time away is a bit nice, I can’t lie!)
Eating- We’ve introduced you to formula and luckily you don’t seem to mind too much! You still enjoy nursing more than a bottle, but the switch back and forth hasn’t been too hard for you. I do think you’ll be solely on formula within the next month or so, especially when you go to daycare.
Sleep- You’re still a pretty good sleeper. Sometimes you conk out around 8pm, and then you wake up a little earlier than normal to eat, but it’s rare that you wake up more than once a night. (Knock on wood.) We still haven’t moved you into the crib in your room yet though – we run the air conditioner at night and we’re too cheap to run both, so you stay in our room in the pack ‘n play. If it gets cooler we’ll probably put you in there with a fan, but for now you’re stuck with us.
Diapers- The size 1′s are getting a little iffy! We’ll see about getting you in 2′s soon, but I’m not sure you’re there just yet.
Appearance- YOU ARE ADORABLE. For a skinny girl, you sure do have some rolls! Your hair is still getting lighter and lighter, and so are your dark blue eyes. It’s amazing to see how your face changes from month to month, and how you look more and more like a real person. And boy is your hair curly! We try to comb it down, but no matter what by the end of the day, its a mass of curls.
Likes/Dislikes- You’re not crazy about bath time yet, and you especially don’t like your hair being washed. I think once you realize you can splash around, you’ll like it more, You just discovered your fists, and you nom on them like crazy. You love to stand, and whenever you catch yourself in the mirror your smile is HUGE. It’s super cute. You also love it when we sing to you, and are super entertained by your mobile and the animals on your rocker.
You also love your ducky lovey, and have started to grab things more. And all of a sudden today you took your paci a lot better than you have been, so fingers crossed you keep that up! You also love being sung to, and were transfixed the other day when Daddy was playing guitar for you. He’ll have his little musician yet!
