I start work again today. As I wrote at Twenties Hacker, I’m happy to be going back to work, but I can’t lie I’m still a little sad about leaving my Sadiecakes! I know she’ll be in good hands with Daddy though, so I guess it’s okay. To top it off, I was in Chicago this weekend, so I’ve barely seen her. But more on that another day. Right now, it’s back to work and back to menu planning.
I’m trying out Tofu and Vegetable Curry with Rice – from Real Simple. The recipe says that you can substitute the frozen okra for frozen green beans, but I’ll probably stick with the okra, as long as our supermarket has it.
I had pinned this recipe awhile ago and totally forgot about it until looking for recipes for this week. Buffalo Chicken Chili MMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmMMMMMMMMMMM. I’m drooling now just thinking about it.
Do you find that you make more recipes from blogs/websites/Pinterest, or good, old fashioned cookbooks? It’s a combo of both for me – I love finding recipes online, but there’s nothing like an actual cookbook sitting on your shelf, just waiting for you to grab!
