LOL. I love this. I can only imagine what Starbucks would do with my IRL name. I have a “Starbucks” name though. I give it in any situation where I have to order food or something. I’m voting that you use Lace as yours.
My coworker does that! His name is Gerry, and he uses something like “Steve” whenever he orders. Hah!
HA! I just always spell it right away: “Doni. D-O-N-I.” I don’t even bother with “Doniree,” that’d be too hard. Also, I see your passion fruit iced tea… what’s your hot drink of choice??
I’m usually a Dunkin Donuts girl, but for hot beverages, either a Skinny Hazelnut Latte, or if I’m feeling splurg-y, a Sea Salt Caramel Hot Chocolate
Haha! That’s awesome. My brother, who has a perfectly normal and easy to pronounce name, uses “Batman” for all reservations and restaurant/deli fodder. It’s awesome.

I’ve stopped giving Starbucks or other places like it, my real name. I tend to go with something easy, like Sara, that’s pretty hard to screw up.
My full first name is a mouthful and complicated and at work I get so many hiliarious spellings of it from clients and potential vendors. They have even given me a temporary sex change with the spelling of my name. It’s a tad funny. But also, how hard is it when I’ve given them my name before?
Since my last name is also a surname, I get people who write emails back to me as “Dear [last name]” I’m pretty sure I didn’t write it backwards in my signature, so why would they assume that’s my first name?!
