#GLEEFORALL!

Yes, it’s time.  On the 9 month anniversary of #HARRYPOTTERFESTATHON

We officially started #GLEEFORALL around 12pm or so. But then were almost defeated due to our ineptness at technology, and Amazon.com’s “unbox” system being a douchebag and not working when we tried to hook it up to our TV.  But alas, we have prevailed, and #GLEEFORALL has begun!!

2:51pm – I can’t believe how young everyone looks.  And it’s barely been a year!  I love the awkwardness between Emma and Schuester.  And how much weight Lea Michele lost since the beginning.  Not to mention -what happened to the little singing interludes they had between scenes?  And the voice overs?  I miss those things.

2:54pm – How come at the Social Adrenaline school, glee club is cool?  Wouldn’t it be lame across the board?

2:56pm – This first episode is so much different than what they showed on TV!  They skipped scenes, and now Schuester is singing “Leaving on a Jet Plane”.  THAT NEVER HAPPENED!!  I’m not a fan of this director’s cut version of the episode. 

3:03pm – Mercedes used to be a lot more ghetto-riffic in Season 1.  I wonder if it was a change on her part, or the director.

3:07pm – I know she was faking it, but if Tina wanted people to believe she had a stutter, how come she could sing without stuttering?  Do people with stutters sing without them?

WE MADE IT THROUGH AN EPISODE!!!!! ONTO #2!!

3:30pm – Jacob the Jew’s afro has gotten much, much bigger from the first episode he was in.  He’s reached Jonah Hill status now.

3:37pm – I love Artie. 

3:42pm – Does anyone else realize how creepy Rachel Berry is?  She is always lurking around corners, hiding behind lockers, and making random stage picnics because she likes Finn.  WEIRDOOOOOOO.

- Ummm hello?  Does anyone else think about the fact that Rachel and Finn are LAYING DOWN and MAKING OUT on the auditorium stage floor??   Like they wouldn’t get caught?  In my day, you hid in a janitor’s closet or something. 

EPISODE 3!  WE’RE MAKING PROGRESS PEOPLE!!

3:56pm – Wow, Quinn was a lot more bitchy before she got preggers.  I wonder if the extra hormones helped with her temperament. 

3:58pm – Emma mentions John Stamos in this episode – FORESHADOWING!!!!!!!!

4:13pm – Just spotted my first So You Think You Can Dance alum!!  Lauren, one of the All-Stars from this past season was in the “Mercy” scene.  YESSSSS

4:16pm – I think Emma is the only person who can rock an outfit with three shades of orange at the same time.  I would look like a tangerine. She looks adorable.

4:25pm – I just realized that Cory Monteith’s (Finn’s) Twitter handle is @frankenteen cause he was called that by the weird choreographer in Episode 3.  Hahaha!

4:35pm – I love that Kurt has to announce to Merecedes that he is gay.  Like that wasn’t the most super obvious thing ever.  

EPISODE 4!!!!!

4:44pm – Let’s keep track of how many different names Sue Sylvester calls Emma.  So far we have: Erma and Elma. 

5:20pm – Why is everyone on this show so creepy? Terri Shuester waiting in Quinn’s car, Rachel creeping around everywhere.  WTF is up with these people??

5:25pm – The football game scene where they’re dancing to Single Ladies is ridiculous.  There’s no way they would ever allow that during a football game.  (Not like the rest of the show is all that realistic, but this for some reason really bothers me.)

5:34pm – Erin schooled Arielle and I w/ the fact that a “Lima Loser” (which I thought was “limaloser”) refers to the fact that they all live in Lima, OH.  The things you learn via twitter. 

5:46pm – Kristin Chenowith is so far the best guest start on Glee.  Her and NPH.

5:57pm – “Do I have to put my fingers in the holes?”  THAT’S WHAT SHE SAID!!!

I’VE LOST TRACK OF THE EPISODES! I think we’re up to #6.

6:21pm – I have the same salad container with the freezey pack thing on top that Emma has.  WIN.

6:24pm – It’s mash up time!!  I love mash ups.

6:56pm – How does a Glee Club with no money have such amazing costumes/props/scenery every other day?  (Again, I know the show isn’t the most realistic, but this bugs me.)

Dave is home, and is interjecting with his random commentary about what he thinks isn’t good, and the singing, blah blah blah tuning him out blah blah.

7:50pm – I still get teary when they sing “Keep Holding On” at the end of the episode when everyone finds out that Quinn is pregnant. 

EPISODE 8??  I’M LOSING TRACK!!!

8:01pm – Emma is wearing this huge, horrendous wedding dress when she’s taking dance lessons from Shue.  I would feel that with her germophobia, she wouldn’t want to wear someone else’s wedding dress.

- The Thong Song!!!  Whatever happened to Sisqo??

8:08pm – When Puck sings “Sweet Caroline”, I want to drop my pants for him.  Truth.

8:48pm – I love how Kurt’s dad steps up and fights for him to sing Defying Gravity.

Arielle loves the fact that Mike O’Malley (Kurt’s dad) was the host of GUTS on Nick.  And some other show.  I always wanted to be on GUTS.  Some of those kids were LAME.

9:20pm – We really like Artie and Tina together.  But I love her with Other Asian.  WHO IS THE BETTER COUPLE??

9:34pm – SUZY PEPPER! I forgot about her and her insane crush on Shue. 

9:40pm – I’m sorry, but singing to a sonogram – is totally creepy.  Finn, I know you’re upset, but really?

9:49pm – This show gets creepier and creepier with every episode!!  Suzy Pepper, Rachel singing “Crush” in the back of Shue’s car, Finn singing to a sologram and then to Quinn and her parents. Geesh!!

I kind of got lazy in live-blogging the rest of the eps we watched tonight.  But we’re more than halfway through!!!
