Wow I didn’t post all last week. Guess it was just one of those quiet times for me, not much going on!

Last night I banged out a triple amount of the Vodka Sauce recipe, and proceeded to cut my finger on an open can, burn myself with spattering sauce, and almost light my kitchen on fire with vodka. Dave just laughed at me. (Well, not when I cut myself.. then he helped bandage me up.) At least the final product tasted good!!

This week we’re running around a bit after work, so only 3 dinner recipes on the menu:

- Rachael Ray’s Pita Bread Salad – we’ve made this before and it’s so easy and delicious!

- Cilantro-Ginger Flank Steak w/ Edamame Rice – we actually already have Edamame on hand, but it’s not shelled, so we’ll probably have it on the side, since we’re lazy.

- Crock Pot Chicken w/ Black Beans and Cream Cheese – Yes please!!

And as a breakfast/dessert for the week:

Pecan Pie Muffins – I mean really, you can’t go wrong with 5 ingredients!!

I also wanted to share the recipe for Hot Chocolate Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies with you!  My office FREAKED for these when I brought them into work.  They are insanely delicious.

Hot Chocolate, Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies Hot chocolate packets!
The ingredients all lined up, and the most important one – hot chocolate packets!

Mix the wet ingredients together and the dry separately in a bowl. And I’m all for baking with a glass of wine in your hand!

I like that you and your husband try new recipes. I used to do that with my bf but we are currently long distance and my dad refuses to try new things.
