Time for part deux of My Life in Pictures!!! There were a lot of requests for things in our apartment, so I’ll probably break this down into 2 posts.
Classy Fab Sarah said a) Becky totally stole my idea. (to see my closet) and b) How about…. where do you blog from?
This actually also answers a question that Mrs. Potts asked (1 of 3), which was “Can you show some shots of your favorite place to read?”
The answer to both, would be right here:

I love my couch
I live on this couch. It’s where my laptop lives, where I watch tv, blog, eat (most of the time… we’re bad that way), nap, etc. It is SOOOOOOOO comfy. The only downside is that it’s a loveseat, so Dave and I can’t really comfortably snuggle together.
Suburban Sweetheart had 3 different things she wanted to see!
1) Your favorite piece of furniture or decor
2) The inside of your refrigerator
3) Your bookshelf, if you have one
My favorite decor would have to be the rubber duckies that are taking over our apartment! Much to Dave’s chagrin haha.

Our bedroom windowsill

Ducks all over the apartment – bedroom, bathroom windowsill, living room, etc
(If anyone ever wants to send me ducks for any reason… do not hesitate… I can stealthily hide them so Dave isn’t aware of new ones! Bwah ha ha!)
Annnd here is our fridge!

Our lovely fridge, with pictures, magnets and meal planning calendar on the front, and ooooooh food (and beer!) inside!
This is pretty much how it usually looks. Probably would have been fuller if we had just gone food shopping, but it’s pretty good for us!
Our bookshelf – well we have 2! One in the living room/dining room area, which is where we showcase the nice books, or the books we want people to see we’re reading haha. The other bookshelf is in Dave’s office/guitar room (“Guitarffice”), and that’s where all the other random books are, and magazines, etc.

“Nice” bookshelf on the left, “hidden” bookshelf on the right
We used to have a lot more books than this, but had a moment of purging last spring and gave away a huge stack of them. I’m sure we’ll have to do that again soon, because I have a bad habit of buying books I want, instead of checking out the library! Whoops.
Stay tuned for more apartment pictures!!!

Wow… the ducks! So many ducks! Torsten's parents have ducks all over their house too but they aren't rubber. The rubber duck thing is such a cute quirk!
I love that you have a Thinkpad. T60?
Awww! This reminds me of when you guys let me couchsurf! Yay!!!
Ooh that couch DOES look comfy!
Holy rubber duckies?!!? How did this happen? Haha.
The duck collection is a cute surprise! I love books too and I am terrible about checking books out from the library (well actually returning them) so I tend to buy them. But my future house has LOTS of shelf space…so no purging for me!
Hahahaha, I absolutely love the ducks! And by the looks of the couch, I would probably never leave there either. It looks comfy!
These posts are so much fun! I think a collection of Harry Potter books is pretty much standard on a bookshelf for most 20-somethings. And I love the rubber ducks. I think my favorite are the bride and groom ducks.
SO MANY DUCKS! I'm so glad I asked.
