Dance Bitches, Dance!! (Top 20)

So last night, we had the first episode of So You Think You Can Dance with the Top 20. Each dancer had their little solo moment and after leg in the air, after leg in the air, after leg in the air, etc, I was getting bored.

First up were Rayven and Jamie doing fast hip hop. I thought they were ok. I really liked the Kanye song that they used, but I thought their dancing was weak. Plus they were a bit too campy for me. Like, stop grinning already.

Mary Murphy and Paula Abdul have to be on the same crazy pills. Whoa man!!

Next up were Susie and Marquis. I said before that I thought Marquis would be cut first for the boys, just because I didn’t like his face haha. Their waltz was beautiful, even though they couldn’t get the lifts and I still want to rip the pink hair out of Susie’s head. I also like Susie better when she’s wearing a decent amount of clothing.

Kourtni L. and Matt did a jazz routine by Mandy Moore, and every time they announce Mandy Moore I am disappointed that it’s not the singer. Booo. Oh yay they’re dancing to Tainted Love!! Oh boo – it’s not that great. Sad. I think Kourtni’s pink tights are bothering me. Boo. OMG Nigel basically told Matt that he has a stick up his arse. Ohhhhhh snap!!

Chelsea T. (with the Angelina Jolie) lips and Thayne are doing a cha-cha. Woo woo!! I kind of have a girl crush on Chelsea, now that she’s not wearing that bra top thing and micro mini shorts that she wore during auditions. And girl can shake her butt!!

Chelsea H. looks like she’s 10, and she’s dancing with Mark, who is kinda weird. Ooooh Mia Michaels!! Oooooh it’s supposed to be like Tim Burton’s wedding!! Which means effed up!!! Yay! When I first saw Chelsea H.’s outfit I thought that they were going to do Madonna “Like a Virgin” haha. This dance was amazing, and I can’t believe how Mark threw Chelsea H. around like a rag doll. She’s so effin cute!

I’ve also decided that Kat Deely shouldn’t be allowed to comment on the dances. Lady, you don’t know from dancing, you just say the dribble that keeps the show running. That’s all.

YES they paired up Kherington and Twitch! Two of my favorites!! Oh no, they did the Terrorist Fist Jab during rehearsals!!! TERRORISTS!! Their Broadway routine was awesome. I’m so proud of Twitch, he freakin rocks. Kherington was kind of shedding her feathers like a big red bird though, leaving them all over the stage.

Can we lower Mary Murphy’s mic? Man that voice is like nails on a chalkboard. My ears are bleeding!!

Comfort and Chris are next, with a jive. Comfort was a little stiff, but otherwise she rocked it. Ooooh someone got her braces off for the show! Chris is a little too pretty for his own good. I get put off by his face! Best line of the night – “I’m not a tree everybody!” Bwah haha.

Then we have Katee and Joshua. Katee was my girl pick to get booted off, because of her grossness during the Vegas auditions. But oh man did I LOVE this routine!! Even though I don’t like that American Idol girl, I love the song she does with Chris Brown. Plus the whole deployment story behind it hit a little close to home, as I have friends in the military and my ex is in the army and has been deployed once. And that jacket switch at the end of the number was hott!

Whose next? Oh we have Jessica and Will doing the tango. This kinda bored me. I don’t like when the contestants wear outfits like they do on Dancing With the Stars. Give me the cool outfits people!! Jessica wobbled a lot, but whatever, it wasn’t entertaining. And no way in hell are they the couple to beat – stupid Mary – that’s Kherington and Twitch!!

And finally we have Courtney G. and Gev doing disco. Courtney kind of reminds me of someone I know, but I can’t place it yet. It was cute, but nothing spectacular, bleh.

Anyone think that the judge Dan’s suit is too big for him?? Like he borrowed his dad’s suit?

Now we have part 2 – the results!! Yesssssssssss a Wade Robson routine!! They tied Nigel up, and that sh*t is funny.

Bottom three couples:

I’m not really surprised about any of them, although I would have thought Jessica and Will staying in over Courtney G. and Gev, only because of the dances they did. But I think that Courtney G. and Gev have more appeal cause they’re cooler.

So no one has to switch partners next week, which is kind of lame. Oh wells. Now Rayven can go take the 47 bobbypins out of her hair, and Jamie can go home to his girlfriend who didn’t make it past Vegas.
